Santie Amery. Multi-talented artist. She taught painting and pottery at various schools, including schools for mentally challenged children and adults, having studied art and obtained her teacher’s diploma at Potchefstroom University.

She paints portraits, does book illustrations, and even paints on teabags and does avocado pip sculptures.

Santie also teaches adult artists, imparting her knowledge of many years.

During her time teaching primary school children in Hogsback she created Hoggamajôjôs to encourage their imagination and creativity.

Her future plans are to give online art classes. Her motto: focus on that which enriches you and makes you happy and joyful.
